The Rainbows were on the Elk Hair Caddis and thats all it took all day long.

Halibut fever

The annual halibut trip with old Alaska pals and father in law was a success.

The weather and fish cooperated and we came away with meat for the freezer.

Fish and chips all winter.

Good stuff today, with a real nice rainbow and cutthroat, toss in a white fish for the rivers triple play.

season starts with a bang

Great way to start the season with some nice fish.

The yellow sally,green drake and what I believe to be leftover skwalas where the obvious bug(s) o' the  day.

Denali skiing

Skiing in the shadow of Denali. Some great snow and trails. Moose,Ptarmigan,frozen spawned salmon,big mountains. Cold as hell too!
